Essay Writing Skills

The State Library of Victoria has created a brilliant website with each step of the essay writing process broken down and explained for you! Just click here! The site goes through:

  • The essay question (and how to break it into smaller more manageable parts)
  • Planning your essay
  • Using quotes
  • The writing process
  • The editing process
  • Bibliographies (and of course you can check out our page here for much more info on this!)

And make sure to check the right hand side panel for a list of additional resources and links that are really helpful!

Evernote

Evernote is a particularly helpful app for note-taking.

The free version allows you to take notes, clip web articles, capture handwritten notes, snap photos, share and discuss your work, and sync across phones and computers. Why not give it a go?
