Learning Resource Centre: How to Review

Have you read a book you really enjoyed?
Have you read a book that you think others should?
Have your read a book a book that made you think?
Did you know you can review items so Mac.Rob community members can read them?

LRC staff are interested in hearing what staff and students alike are enjoying reading and who they think should be reading it. Details can be filled in however you wish. The review doesn't need to be long or just focusing on the bright side all we ask is that you are honest. Reviews will be checked then become visible to the school community.

If a book in the catalogue has been reviewed a number is displayed in brackets next to the Review tab. Reviews from the current year will be added to this page for all to read.

1. Search for the book you wish to review.
2. From the results list, click on the book you are trying to review. This will open its information in another box.
3. In this window, click the ‘write a review' button on the left side panel.
4. You will need to login using your student number. If you do not have a PIN, leave this blank.
5. Now you can write your book review and click ‘submit’.
6. Others can read your review in this same window under the reviews tab along the bottom.
7. Make sure to LOGOUT when you are done reviewing or using the catalogue!
